Monday-Friday

Sorry I’m not writing much today and to make it worse I don’t have any pictures! But I did have church at my house. That was cool! We had a 15 minute primary talk and then a 15 minute sacerment talk. For the sacerment we got little sacerment cups (yes we found some) then we just got bread. So after church we made nobakes and had dinner because we had church at 5 pm. I am really sorry I don’t have much to talk about! It’s not as long as last Thursday, but I promise this Thursday it will be a lot better!!!!!!

I guess I can't keep a secret that yes, I do have to go to a activity group, but I was the oldest and the second oldest was seven. It was kind awkward when we went outside to ''play'' and a little kid about three asked me to do a race with him. I lost. It wasn't a purpose though. Hey! my body does not fit on a small tricycle.

Exciting days

This time I am going to do this post differently. I am going to show a picture and then write about it above. So that the whole thing looks longer. So here it goes.

So where should I start with this picture? Homeschool. My mom has this weird homeschool thing for PE, she turns on just dance on youtube and has us do that. Then she says that me and her have to do a wall sit. So my mom did it for 4 minutes the first time and I did 6 and a half minutes it was my choice. We were going to do it for 4 minutes at first but I wanted to see how long I could go. Now you think that was good, the second time my mom did 5 minutes, and that's right I did 10 MINUTES! That's my record so far for the wall sit. My legs are still shaking! I know this is totally random but I think for an 11 year old girl that's pretty good! See if you can go longer!!!

 

Okay so I know these pictures are really random, but I'm coming up to a really funny story after the pictures. So this was on Sunday when we stopped at Mac-D (thats what they call it here) and no, they don't have hamburgers, sorry grandpa Bud. So we went up to the bathroom and this is what we find on the bathroom stall door. Do not stand on toilets! Do not squat off of toilet. 

I don't know what they think we're doing in there, but I DO NOT want to know!!! Ya hear me Mac-D or what ever you call it! I repeat I DO NOT want to know! I am only 11!!!! And DON'sT YOU say please to me! 

So that's my experience with Mac-D

Oh! And I forgot to say I lost my tooth. No I am serious I had it for like two seconds then I lost it. At least I know it's somewhere in the car :) I hope :(

Okay for the funny story!! So my mom and dad were going on a date so I was on duty for baby sitting. Sulu the maid was still there and was going to leave shortly after my mom and dad left. But just to make sure, I asked my dad and he said that she would leave soon, and I agreed because I don't think that she would ever want to stay with a crazy white family because you can never trust the whites, thats why everyone voted for Barak Obama ( and yes I made that up). So my mom and dad left. And we were just eating dinner when I saw Sulu take a cookie and go in the living room sit on the couch to eat it. Then she did it again, and again, and again until the whole thing was gone. She kept on getting up and going back to eat it. I was amazed that she could eat so many cookies, and walk that fast, I guess she was excited to get another cookie. I would be. Then after dinner since it was spaghetti Miles was a mess so I gave him a bath because I didn't see the point in washing his face and hands and let the rest of his body be dirty in spaghetti. So I was just getting him in his PJs then Sulu walked in. I was surprised I thought she already had left. Then she sat down on my desk and just watched. Then she did the hand motion of good bye, and I thought "oh thank goodness one less person to watch," but she just stayed put. At that point I was just confused, 'what was she trying to say,' I thought. I didn't really have the time to think so I got Miles dressed and I was like 'So long Sucker' not really but I did run away! But she followed us to the living room! I was like ' Crazy Lady go away I have  1, 2, 3 children and  I Am Not afraid to use them. You should be scared of them after all, I am.' But I don't think Sulu is scared of 3 innocent children, but I really don't know why not! Then to get the kids and Sulu off my hands I gave them to Curious George. When Sulu saw Curious George she ran into the kitchen, and I said "wait Sulu, the door's that way!" Not really but even if I did she wouldn't understand :(. When she came back she brought a chair in. Then she sat down with a huge smile and watched the movie.

About half way through the movie she came and laid down on the coach and guess what? She went to sleep!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At that time I was thinking #1 Why do I always have to be the responsible one???!!!, and #2 what if my parents come and she is still asleep?! And #3 What if she never wakes up?! Then all of the sudden me and the movie had a great idea! The movie was almost over so I texted my dad and said '' When are you gonna get home ALREADY!?'' He never texted back. Figures. Then the movie was over and I turned on Buzz Bee. It was a brilliant idea, because if you know Buzz Bee you know it has a very sudden and loud  first note in the begging of the movie! AND guess what my plan worked! Sulu woke up!!! Yay! Go Addy! Go Addy! And the best part was at that moment my mom and dad walked in!!! As you can tell it was an exciting night!

Week days

For now on I will be posting on Mondays and Thursdays.
So yesterday we went to a mall and went to the market that was in the mall called Easy day. I will tell you one thing it wasn't so easy. It was really crowded and everything felt like it was unorganized . I think the reason it felt so unorganized is because there was so many people in one store! After the Easy day fun, not. We just went home. It wasn't a party, but we know a American family that is coming tomorrow, and we are having a different American family over to dinner in two days. So back to subject today we went to my dads hospital, because my mom had to take Hope to the doctor, so my dad watched us. Oh I forgot so tell you that yesterday was the first day I just ran back home from the library. I am starting to feel safer here. All the people are the nicest people in the world. The day before that we went to the nicest hotel I have ever seen to get dinner. It was a real nice dinner thats why it didn't surprise me when Hayden broke a glass cup. So for dinner I had pasta, my mom had under cooked chicken that was pink, my dad had a buffet, and Hope, Hayden, and Miles had pizza. I don't have much to talk about, but once I actually realize I am not dreaming I will have a lot more.

Thursday 1 month!!!!

Thursdays. The day that we lose power at least three times a day. Thursdays. Usually the stay at home day, but today we got lucky. Where should I start.... aghhhhhhh I know about 25 minutes ago, when we went into that street called Laxmi Road that felt like it had a million people in it ( although I wouldn't be surprised if it did have a million people).

It was a good morning, eating french toast, the warm air, but the smell was not good-- whatever you're thinking it's probably worse. We went outside to play with the neighbors, then after that we went to buy some new Indian clothes for the party we are going to tonight. I got a floor length dress ( all of them were floor length) that has flowers all over it. I guess its a really formal party or I would have wore sweat pants. Then my mom is going to borrow a sari, you now the ones that show your stomach, but she is going to wear something under. Hope is going to wear a pink and yellow dress with a lot of bead designs on it. Then Hayden and Miles are going to wear one of those long shirts, and pants.
After we bought the clothes we went to an alley, that was the one that I thought had a million people, and it was an ALLEY!!!! There were these two little beggar girls that were really killing me it was soooooo sad! They kept asking for food but we didn't have any, and they were trying to do tricks to get food, like one of them had a long rope and she like wiped herself, but it didn't hurt her. They  stopped asking us, and we went to a jewelry store and asked for artificial jewelry then they brought out a bucket with jewelry in it so we didn't think it was that much because the expensive jewelry was hanging up, but we were wrong it was $240.00 for three pieces of artificial jewelry!!!! I think after all that we wanted to go home and eat.

Meeting new American families

Over the three days two American families came over for dinner and we went to the zoo.

So we went first to the zoo with one of the families, and saw alligators, a king cobra, vipers, a white tiger, and a normal orange tiger, and a bunch of other cool animals. After the zoo we met up with the other American family and went to my house to eat dinner. I ate pasta, fruit salad, and carrots. When we all ate we watched a movie then the families had to go so we said good bye and they left.

The next day we went to church, because of the three hours it takes to get there it was a six hour trip and three hours at church. When we got back we all just went to sleep.

Over the week

Over the week I didn’t do much, but we did do a few outings. We went to the market, and went out for breakfast, but what we did that was really fun was go to the biggest mall in Pune. First we just went looking around to find a restraint and found Chiles! We ate hamburger’s that kind of tasted normal! After we ate we found a market in the mall and went there, it was weird that there was a market in the mall. So we got all our groceries then we found a haunted house and they don’t even celebrate Halloween!  So we went in and the first thing I hear is Hope and Hayden crying! I have to admit it was scary, but that is what it was for, to scare us! We went home after that, and I cant wait to go back!!!

The next day we saw a bunch of people putting lights up and we knew what the name was for the next Holiday coming up so we researched it. Dawali. The celebration of lights. It is a 6 day celebration, and each day you do a different thing. So everyone here is getting ready for this big celebration and we had to research it. Weird. Every day we see more and more cows, I am actually getting scared!

Sorry I am not writing much but we didn’t do a lot this week.

The next week on Sunday an American guy came over for dinner. We had salsa, chicken, carrots, and cucumbers that were in vinegar. Then we went on the walk up this mountain to a Hindu temple. It was a really cool hike! We saw goats all over and some of them were literally 2 feet away from us! When we got all the way to the top it was a really good view. Then these people wanted to take a picture with us, it was really funny! Then we came home and watched the movie Daniel!

Before on Saturday we found a KFC and went to a park that was really fun! We bought a ball that was like 50 cents. Then we were so tired after the park so we went to bed. 

It was a fun week!!!

Today was the first day on a rickshaw! All I can say was it was CRAZY! We were looking for a preschool for Hayden and Miles, we found one. So Hayden starts tomorrow, but Miles is going November 6. But before we went out looking for preschools we went to a restaurant and got wait for it WAFFLEs, and the best part is they tasted regular!!!!!!! But Miles broke a glass, but that happened in America a bunch of times to so it made me feel more at home. So we came home and finished homeschool and thats where I am know. I'm waiting for this person to come over o check the house to  say if we can still live here, but i'm pretty sure we are going to get kicked out because Hayden has already pulled out a curtain and Miles has already chipped the wood on all the furniture, so good bye house even though it hasn't even been 2 weeks yet! I have cool pictures because we went out today!
