Chicago Turn-around and Happy Hayden

So we took a quick jaunt to Chicago over the weekend to deposit Hope to my mom who was there for work meetings. It was fun to see my mom for a bit. We just hung out at the hotel, swam, and went out for Chicago style deep dish pizza. Yum!
I miss Hope terribly. I don't know if I miss her as bad as Addy does though. She cleaned Hope's room last night and cried herself to sleep because she misses Hope. When I woke her up this morning, the first thing she said in her groggy voice was, "8 more days until Hopee comes home, can we make it?" It was very cute. The sisterly love is definitely more prevalent during separation:)

I kept telling Hope to smile, the more I said it, the more she was determined to pucker:)

Up and Running

Craig and I got into the St. George marathon via the lottery this year! I'm excited for the training and the running. I have a fantastic training partner and we even multitask while running. We do "Preschool on the Go," and even get some work done (i.e. appointment scheduling and project planning) as we run.
I love running. I missed it during the winter/pregnancy. It's great to be back! I will be tracking my running on my running blog at aubree.fastrunningblog.com.

Dear Hayden,
I love you more than I could've imagined possible. You and I are having bonding time this week while Hope is away with grandma and Addy is at school. You are making little noises and hiccuping and I've never heard more precious sounds. I feel like I could have a million babies if they were all like you. Now that you're 2 1/2 months old, you smile almost every time I talk to you. You have such a pure spirit and you make our family whole. I look forward to years spent hanging out with you. I love having you here, my sweet little boy.
