She had to have her hair cut....

Independence Day
It was a fun-filled day for our family. We went to Transformers, which Craig claims to be "the best movie of all time." It wasn't bad. I quite liked it myself. Later that night we had a BBQ with the Pecks, the Stevensons, and the Browns. We went to watch fireworks from Stacy's old stomping grounds (we miss you Stacy!). Fun day!

Addy's Prayer
"Heavenly Father, thank you for this day. Thank you for the food. Bless that I can be a big girl like (11-year old aunt) Lauren some day. Please bless (uncle) Braden on his mission. Thank you for mom and dad. Thank you for baby Mitchell. Please bless us to have a new baby. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen."
Who's fatter?
Aubree and I were discussing nutritional theories. We disagreed on a few points. Aubree out of frustration in the argument finalized our conversation with "well Craig, WHO'S FATTER?" I just looked at her and said "that might have been the meanest thing you've ever said to me," and we both laughed the rest of the evening about it.

Goodbye Elder Mitchell
We said goodbye to Braden on June 20, 2007 at the Provo MTC. It was a bittersweet day for us all. I know that Braden will be an awesome missionary, he has some awesome talents and great compassion for people. We are going to miss him so much!
Braden is going to the Ukraine, Donetsk mission. It's an interesting story. He was originally called to the Munich, Germany mission. He was geared up for a German mission. Then, just a week before his farewell, he got a call saying that his mission would be reassigned. Crazy! No explanation, just the change. My other brother Dallin served in the same mission. Crazy again!
Two days before he left we went to the lake.
One last time for two years for the Elder. Addy loves her uncle Braden.
Camping on Cedar Mountain
On our short break after Craig took his boards, we went home to Cedar and St. George. Our first night, we camped on Cedar mountain. The weather felt so nice up there. Can you Phoenixites imagine a campfire feeling so good? It was great. Addy climbed up this huge lava bed that stretched to the top of a hill--a beautiful view from up there!
Once a Monther...
So I'm a once a month blogger. I'm ok with that. So you probably don't need to check it more than that often...unless you've already given up on me altogether. I really look up to those of you that keep up with your blogs, It's really fun looking at them. So here goes my last month (although you'll get all that before you read this introduction) ha ha. I probably should do it in reverse order, but my brain has a hard enough time working chronologically. Just like with my blogging, you could say I'm a little slow.
