Happy Anniversary Craig!

Our seventh anniversary came and went uncelebrated (sort of) this year. After being showered with gifts and letters for my birthday and then Mother's Day, I told Craig not to get me anything for our anniversary. Well, he got me something anyways, but then I forgot to get him anything...oops.
I just wanted you all to know how wonderful Craig is and how lucky I've been to be married to him for SEVEN great years. So here are seven things that I love about Craig.

1. He is very optimistic. "It'll work out," is one of his most common sayings. President Eyring said this of President Hinckley at his funeral:
< I heard that voice so many times when a difficult problem facing the Church was brought to him. He would listen carefully, perhaps asking a question or two, to be sure that he understood the magnitude of the difficulty facing us and that those who brought the problem to him knew he understood. Time after time, he would quietly say something like this, with a pleasant smile, “Oh, things will work out.”>

When I heard that, I immediately thought, Craig emulates the prophet in that way...he is just as optimistic.


2. Craig LOVES to have fun. He especially loves Disneyland. Although I don't share the same enthusiasm about Disneyland, I love that he is such a kid at heart.


3. Craig looks like David Hasselhoff--he he! If you see him, call him "Mitch," he loves it!


4. Craig is so good to me. He is constantly doing service and things he knows I'd appreciate. The only problem is, he often does it without telling me, and he just lets things go unnoticed...Thank you for all the unnoticed acts of service Craig! I really appreciate you.

5. He is the best diswasher loader in the world. He takes pride in his loading abilities:) He really should advertise his work.


6. People love Craig. Craig is such a likable person. He's going to be a great doctor someday. I'm sure he will have a following of patients who will just love him. I'm grateful to be affiliated with such a great guy!

7.Craig is the best husband and father. He is kind and patient and fun. I am just now thinking of SO MANY things that are great about Craig. Seven was not enough. So this is just a small portion of Craig, and what I love about him. Here are just a few more pics representing what I love about Craig...

A Major Disappointment:(

Our house was a sad place to be during the final results of American Idol. Addy has not missed and episode and has favored "the little guy," David Archuletta from the beginning. She formed her own opinion, as Craig and I both liked David Cook better than the little guy. As you can see, Addy had a rough time finding out that the winner was David Cook.


p.s. Addy's nose picking--and eating-- is obviously a comfort for her during this difficult time. Don't judge her too harshly. Also, I'm really embarrassed of my belly, but for those of you who asked for it, there it is! More than you probably wanted to see. Sorry...

Warriors with Honor

So I was given a very special gift. It is a Warriors with Honor Challenge Coin. Mike Peck's dad, Russel Peck, is in the beginning stages of a new website "is to inspire others to take action, with extraordinary courage, as a warrior for good and great purposes." I believe this site will be of a great benefit to individuals and society as a whole. Russel has generated 21 principles for members to pledge to. I have seen the greatness of these principles that he has instilled into the life of his family, notably his son Mike. Mike has a great sense of honor for people, and respect for our country. The courage Mike displays in every day activities has been a outstanding example to me. I am deeply honored to accept the Warriors with Honor Challenge Coin, and hope I can live by what it represents. Here is the coin:

A little catch up

So I'm going to try and catch you up to date on what we've been up to the last couple of months. You probably just think I've been a miserable pregnant person wallowing in discomfort and just enduring the incredible slowing of time the last trimester of pregnancy (if you think that, you're partially right) but we have had a little entertainment, so here goes...

Mothers Day Tea



Today was the Mothers Day Tea at Addy's preschool. It was darling. Addy has been so excited to give me a surprise present at the event...she's been telling me that the present is a cockroach, she really had me fooled! I was so surprised to get a flower!


They gave us a lot of pampering. I got a manicure, my legs shaved, and a foot massage. It was great!

PVTH Buddies

A couple of weeks ago we went to St. George and met up with the gang from PVTH. It was so good to see all of you. We had a great time catching up. It was good that Dennis and Anita came down from Spanish Fork. Can't wait til the next rendezvous!

Adventures in Running

Since I have been out of commission as far as running goes, I have enlisted Craig and Addy to do proxy running for me. They have both competed in 2 races since I've become spectator.




They ran the Run for Kids in St. George with my parents on April 12. Craig won 3rd place in his age and got a medal and gift certificate to Irmitas! I was so proud. Addy struggled to finish her 1K (she is not a morning person) but completed it nonetheless with support and encouragement from Nana and Papa.


They also ran at the Anthem Days here in Phoenix. Addy needed some encouragement for that one too...she tried to beat up Craig a the end.
