1st Trip to the Dentist!

Addy had her first dental exam today. She did very well and quite enjoyed herself. "I wasn't scared. That girl gave me a purse." (a gift bag with a toothbrush, floss, etc.) Her favorite part was "Mr. Drink...he drinked my toothpaste." The hygenist called the suction device, "Mr. Thirsty." No cavities and her teeth look great!

Dancing Queen

Dance started up again for Addy. This time it is a Jazz/Ballet class. She loves having her friend Jenessa in her class.

In the life of Addy...

These are pictures of the project Craig and I painted today. When my parents were in town, they got the ball rolling. My dad painted the base coat and he and my mom drew the design on it. So finally we got around to painting it. We still need to put several coats of polyurethane on it, but the hard part is done. It will go under our kitchen table when it's finished.
Yes, we realize that Addy is wearing the same nightgown in almost every picture. She got a new princess nightgown last week and she loves it...as you can see!

Blogging is fun!

Ok, so I think this is pretty cool (blogging I mean). Here is a picture of Craig, doing what he does 24/7. Although he's not always here at home. It's nice when he is though!

Blogging is fun, I think!

Ok, so I'm just learning how to do this. Susan Dangerfield gave me this idea....to blog, print it off, and use it as a family journal/scrapbook. I'm going to give it a whirl. People say that it's addicting and fun. We'll see what happens!

My goal is to post something once a week or so. Craig may also post from time to time, so it should be a good representation of our life. We've been writing down quotes from Addy that we think are hilarious and cute. We'll try to add pictures too. Addy has a funny thing she does when she plays alone. She gathers things from around the house; furniture, pillows, knick knacks, etc., and creates things. She also loves to play in her princess nightgowns.
