Over the weekend

Saturday:

Sorry I've been slow on writing! It's been a crazy week.
So on Saturday we went to a international persons house and had MEAT! Some how they found some! So we had a fun time at their house, and afterword we just went to sleep. Before that we were just going crazy getting ready for the dinner at their house. We were like ''no not this shirt, this is too casual'' it was the first time we were going to see someone NOT from India ( they were from Canada).


Sunday:

So on Sunday we did a lot. In the morning we went outside with our neighbors and played what they called dodge-a-ball with an accent, and what we call dodgeball with our American accent apparently.
Then we went inside and watched conference, it was really good and I learned a lot like the talk about if we went into the past and talked about technology and believing by Uchdorf. After that we watched Curious George! Yes! But while  we were watching we made Halloween decorations, because they don't celebrate it here so we are just going to stay in the house for Halloween. :( . So after we were done doing that my dad came home and we had dinner. I know that we didn't do much but for us that was a really busy day because we usually just do homeschool in the house all day.

Wednesday... the mouse

Today was the day we finally caught the mouse that was living in our house!!! We were chasing it around the house for like an hour! All the couches were all over in different places in the living room, and me, my mom,  and Hope were standing on them like babies. My dad was running around the house with Miles and Hayden right behind him saying they wanted to catch the mouse. We finally caught the mouse and crushed it. YUCK! My dad was saying he was like that old woman on ratatouille with her shotgun, and my mom was like an elephant on a stool. But instead of my dad having a shotgun he had a broom. After it died, Hope said she wanted to touch it's tail, and I said '' why in a million years would you want to do that?'' After that mouse  fiasco I couldn't eat breakfast.

The rest of the day I just did home school. Sorry this is so sort but pretty soon I am going to see my dad at the hospital,  but I have a bunch of stuff to do this morning! I miss everyone! 

Monday and Tuesday

MONDAY:

The starting of the week. We started home school this week and I learned about Rupees I think we did  good. We also walked to the market, and that was crazy. Miles was walking outside of the store and walking out into the streets!The market was so small and had so many things inside it that we were pushing people and things off the shelf to get him. There are also so many stray dogs that when we were walking back we saw 4 puppies just lying down next to each other waiting for their mother. I wanted to just pick up one of them, but if I did I could get really sick! I felt bad. So when we got back our maid, Sulu was making lunch. She was making rice and bread.
 I went to bed around 6:00, I was so tired so I just laid down on the couch!

TUESDAY:

So this morning I had a crape sort of thing called chapati with nutella, peanut butter, and bananas for breakfast. Then I turned on a movie and tired to go back to sleep because I woke up at 3:30. It didn't work out so well.
When it was about 6 in the morning my mom had us clean up and dance at the same time. She had me turn on some music.  You should see the dance moves I saw today, it was hard to watch. Fist of all you do not want to see Hope when she is trying to act like a sassy cheer leader.  Second why does Hayden want to act like her? It's enough that he likes My Little Pony!
Pretty  soon we are going to check out the hospital my dad works at, and then go a big market my dad knows of. ADVENTURE is out there!!!!! Apparently waiting for our family! ;)

Sunday

Today was SUNDAY! I've been 4 days officially in India!
We went to church, and it was amazing! I loved it because it was so different! There was a translator for the people that spoke Hindi and for the people that spoke English. There were like 15 kids in primary so we all shared a class. It was a really cool experience. There were also 2 kids getting baptized, so we went out side to see the font, and it's like a little hot tub with like a roof of card board! I wasn't feeling that good today so I am not writing much but I will have more tomorrow!

Today we went on what my mom and dad call an ''exiting and fun outing'' , I didn't think that it was so exiting and fun. First we walked for about an mile to the market, but it seemed longer then that because people where staring at us like we were purple people! I usually wouldn't mind being the center of attention, but this was different...kind of.
When we finally got back from the ''exiting and fun outing'' I felt like I was going to die with all my happiness, or maybe the humidity and heat.
Then we drove to a place to get my moms new phone. That wasn't so bad, except for the fact that the people who did see us looked at us like we don't belong.
Then we went home, and thats where we are now, at HOME about half way asleep!
But so far I think I like India!!!!

India! Of all places why India! I guess there's no turning back now, because I'm already there! Why not Paris or even London would be cool to see. It's my second night here, and it's nice place we live in, but that can't change the fact that it's INDIA!!! I'm still getting used to the culture, and what to wear and do. But anyway I've been a couple of places and seen a lot of  stay dogs on the street, and felt bad for the people on the streets just lying down waiting for morning to come to do work.

It's not really what I expected to see. I thought I had a pretty good picture in my mind, but it's just so different, but I hope the pictures help understand India. But our house is pretty normal, saying that instead of using toilet paper we use a hose, which I think is just plain weird, but also makes a lot of sense.
Well I hope you like the pictures, and remember it's my 2nd night in a different COUNTRY!!!!!!!!!!! And I will have more pictures tomorrow.
