Letters to Uncle Nate

OUr blog is a work in progress. It historically has been for keeping our family journal, but our journal also contains the same information that we send to Uncle Nate on his mission. Writing one letter kills two birds with one stone. A week in review to send to Uncle Nate, and a digital family journal.

Elder Mitchell
Hello from Detroit! We found out that we are having a boy! Due the beginning of December. We are thinking about the name Miles Ford Hunter. Aubree really likes the name Miles, I think it's kinduv nerdy, but its growing on me. Ford is my Dad's middle name, my grandmother's maiden name, and he will be born in Detroit with all the Ford history. Two boys, and two girls. Aubree says we are done. I'll believe it when I see it. Aubree is feeling well. She ran 12 miles yesterday, training for a half marathon the end of this month. She has a hard time keeping her heart rate low; she is 5 months pregnant.
We are crazy to be having another kid.
Aubree went to Palmyra while I was in New Orleans for a conference. It was interesting when she called me from the Sacred Grove, I had just come from Burbon street. Burbon street in New Orleans represents all that is debase and despicable about human society on one street. Aubree had a good time with Heather, and got to see the Palmyra pageant.
Hayden is growing up. The ward is becoming more acquainted with him. He walks around with no fear, smiles at everyone, and laughs at weird things. He has a weird fascination with lights. He looks up at them, stares at them. I always wonder what he is thinking. He is talking now. He sings the same songs Hope will sing, good or bad. He mimics Hope in everything. Hope was crawling around saying "i am a lady bug, I am a lady bug." So hayden started crawling around trying to say the same thing, but can only speak in 2 word sentences.
Hayden throws everything, in church today he threw his bottle about six times. I guess I should have quit giving it back to him after the first time. He still plays in the toilet.
Addy is doing well, she's turning into such a nice little girl. She is good at keeping the tomatoes watered. It will be interesting to see how she grows up. When she was 0-2, her best friend was a boy Daxton, 3-5 her best friend was a boy Logan, and now her best friend is a boy named David. One of these days I'm gonna have to put the kibosh. Addy has more expendable income than her parents. She paid for our family to go to the movie yesterday.
Hope is so funny. We can never put her to bed. When she does fall asleep, the mood of the whole house changes. My sphincter loosens and we can relax a little. I'm sure I'm going to miss it when she's older.
I worked a lot this week. This month I'm now at a big trauma hospital. I have a bunch of trauma patients on the urology service. One of my patients got annihilated by an AK47, and some fragments are left in his penis. Probably take him to the operating room this week. Another one of my patients, 4 year old boy got his penis caught in his zipper. I took care of him with some mineral oil. He's lucky I didn't need to use a bone cutter to cut off the zipper. I had him dip his penis in a cup of mineral oil, and told him. "Put your penis in that cup like you are giving it a drink."
Anyway, we miss you. Hope prays for you every prayer. Love you
Craig
