We had a nativity, Hope was an angel (shaw!), Addy was Mary, David Williams was Joseph, and Hailey Elliot was the donkey carrying Mary. We also played a sweet sack game that Aubree and I lost. We simply put a brown paper sack on the ground. The object was to stand on one foot, bend over and pick up the bag with your teeth. Then you keep trimming the bag down. The winner is who can pick up the bag at its lowest point. We didn't last long. One of us has a big belly and the other is pregnant.

Christmas morning was also really nice. Aubree and I got to 7 am and couldn't wait any longer so we woke up Addy. The first thing she said was "are we gonna iChat with Nanna and Papa (Mitchell)?" She awoke and saw what Aubree has been working hard to make:
A rad playhouse the girls can play in. It didn't take Addy long to commandeer it, and move much of her stuff in. Hope is now supposed to stay out.
She sewed it herself along with some long hours and help from Mary Williams. Mary's can be found at http://www.markandmarywilliams.blogspot.com
Christmas day we got to spend with the Rigsby's.
(Aubree, Addy, Hope, and Summer)
They have also become our family away from home. We just ate, loafed, played video games, ate, snacked, played more video games, snacked ect...
This Christmas season was different, but the company of such fun and great people made it all the better. Maybe one of the best Christmas' ever.

I am so impressed with Aubree's sewing skills, way to go girl! Oh and just one question...what is up with your red snazzy sweatshirt Craig?! LOVE it...sooo stylish with all of those bows!
LOL! Don't listen to Jodi Craig. She's just mad she doesn't have a sweater from her grandma that sings a Christmas tune. :) glad you guys had a great Christmas. We missed you as Santa this year!
Aubree!
Wow! You do have some sewing skills. Could you make me a 6 man tent for when we go camping for my birthday? I want to go camping in shabby chic. :)
You got it Heather. When we're 80, it'll be done!
Explanation on the Christmas sweater: Craig bought it for the ugly Christmas sweater party in AZ, then wore it and won a prize here in Michigan! For some reason he decided to pull it out on Christmas Eve as well... Our friends say he's an interactive quiet book (the Christmas decor is velcro..interchangeable!)
